- Direct an annual series of 15 weeklong, immersive, in-residence learning programs including hotel, catering, curriculum, hosting, and other hospitality arrangements
Highlighted Accomplishments
- Laid the necessary foundation for the organization to understand and embrace the notion that disability is diversity; consequently, accessibility became an institutional priority at all levels
- Established partnerships with regional & national organizations to spearhead professional development workshops and to develop museum enrichment programs addressing loneliness, social isolation, mental health, and well-being; have taken multiple initiatives from pilot to public
- Generated over 500% increase in annual giving in recognition of accessibility and lifelong learning
- Established an annual daylong symposium of lectures and demonstrations by/for museum volunteers
- Strategically reduced expenses during national recession commensurable to 10% budget cut while maintaining an extremely high standard for educational programming
- Leveraging new media technologies and social media for promotion and community engagement
- Initiated training for volunteer educators in pedagogy and best practices in art education
